Sagittarius 2027 Horoscope

the year Jupiter takes you further

A year to look further out: in the first half your ruler Jupiter gets you travelling, studying and seeing things from a new angle, and from late July it turns to your career, where what you've learned starts to pay.

The big picture

  • Saturn is in your 5th house all year, and so is Neptune. This is the house of romance, creative work, hobbies and children. You like to keep these light, but this year they ask for commitment: whether a relationship is for the long run, whether you finish what you started, how you handle responsibilities around children. A little less play, and what's left carries more weight.
  • Your ruler Jupiter is in your 9th house from January to July 25, then moves into your 10th on July 26. The first half favours distance and learning: travel abroad, further study, qualifications and getting published all move more easily than usual. The second half shifts to your career: what you've learned and seen starts turning into openings and a reputation at work.
  • Both solar eclipses fall on the Leo–Aquarius axis, your 9th and 3rd houses. February 6 lands in your 3rd, changing who you're in regular touch with, how you communicate and how you learn. The August 2 total eclipse lands in your 9th: the biggest turning point of the year, in travel, study and your plans for the future.

Work

Work starts the year slowly. From January 10 to April 1 Mars is retrograde, backing from your 10th into your 9th: career plans may need reworking and work trips may slip, so refining the plan pays better than rushing it out. The February 21 penumbral lunar eclipse falls in your 10th, a moment to ask whether this job is still what you want. Put your energy into learning in the first half; a qualification or practical skill will pay off later in the year. When Jupiter moves into your 10th on July 26, your career starts to move: go for a bigger role and let more people see what you're working on. Jupiter squares Uranus on September 11 across your 10th and 7th, so a partner or client may change their mind suddenly; leave room in contracts and roles.

Money

In the first half, money tends to go on the road and on learning: travel, study, courses. It's money well spent; just budget ahead. With Saturn in your 5th, go easy on anything speculative, even more than usual. Mercury is retrograde from June 11 to July 5 through your 8th and 7th: read the terms twice on loans, joint accounts and anything you pay for together with a partner. The July 18 penumbral lunar eclipse falls in your 2nd, a good point to review the first half's income and spending and cut what you don't need. Once Jupiter is in your 10th, more of your earning chances come from the work itself.

Love

With Saturn in your 5th, you'll take love more seriously than usual. Relationships that are only for fun appeal less, and you start wanting to know whether this one can last. If you're single, things with someone new may move slowly, which is no bad thing: you'll see more clearly. Neptune is here too, which makes it easy to think too well of someone, so watch what they actually do. Jupiter trines Saturn on April 3 and July 12 across your 9th and 5th: people you meet while travelling or studying are worth noticing, and couples could take a long trip together. Uranus is in your 7th all year, so you may both need more room of your own. When Mercury retrograde passes through your 8th and 7th from June 11 to July 5, talk disagreements through in person.

Body and routine

With more travel in the first half, your routine is the first thing to go: jet lag, long journeys, late nights in a row. Give yourself a day or two to recover when you get back. While Mars is retrograde from January to early April, work pressure tends to pile up; moving helps more than stewing, and a sport you'll stick with beats the odd all-out session. With Saturn in your 5th, a hobby done regularly is a kind of rest too, like a weekly game or drawing session. Mercury is retrograde through your 12th and 11th from October 7 to 28: turn down a few social plans and get enough sleep. If discomfort persists or affects daily life, please see a qualified medical professional.
