With Saturn in your 10th, bosses, clients and senior people in your field will look more closely at what you do, and the standards go up. It's a year to pick one thing and get properly good at it, and to put your duties, authority and deadlines in writing. Neptune is here too, so arrangements made only by word of mouth are the first to blur. Jupiter trines Saturn on April 3 and July 12 across your 2nd and 10th: the two best moments of the year to discuss pay and responsibilities, ideally with results already in hand. Jupiter squares Uranus on September 11 across your 3rd and 12th, so plans and information may change at short notice. Keep a backup for anything important.
Money is a major thread this year. In the first half, with Jupiter in your 2nd, a new source of income may open up, but feeling flush also makes it easy to spend more, so put part of what comes in aside first. Mars is retrograde from January 10 to April 1, backing from your 3rd into your 2nd: impulse buys and old money disputes tend to surface, so give big purchases time. Mercury retrograde from February 10 to March 3 backs from your 9th into your 8th: reread the terms on loans, insurance and money you share with family. Around the August 2 total eclipse in your 2nd, give yourself extra time on any big financial decision. Keep speculation to a minimum.
Work will take up a lot of your attention this year, so in love the main thing is to protect your time together: a fixed slot each week just for the two of you works better than catching up once things calm down. The July 18 penumbral lunar eclipse falls in your 7th, and what a partner — in love or in business — really expects from you may come to the surface. Hear it all before you answer. After Jupiter enters your 3rd on July 26 you'll be more inclined to go out, take a class and talk to people, and single Cancerians get more chances to meet someone new. Mercury retrograde from October 7 to 28 runs through your 5th and 4th: messages from an ex and old family topics may come back. Decide for yourself how far to engage.
In a heavy work year, rest is usually the first thing squeezed out. Pick a time to finish work and stop when it comes. Mercury retrograde from June 11 to July 5 backs from your 1st into your 12th; you may tire easily and lose focus, so book less and go to bed earlier. Uranus is in your 12th all year and your sleep rhythm may be uneven: an hour without screens before bed and a darker, quieter bedroom are simple places to start. If discomfort persists or affects daily life, please see a qualified medical professional.
