What it is — Lenormand is a 36-card deck, named after the 19th-century French fortune-teller Mademoiselle Lenormand. Its cards picture everyday objects and animals (ship, key, house, snake…). More direct and down-to-earth than tarot, it's read in combination — neighbouring cards linked together are what form the full answer.

How to use it — Hold one clear question you can state in a single sentence → pick a spread → draw. Don't read each card in isolation; try to string them into one sentence.
