Mundane astrology
Astrology applied to nations, cities and eras rather than to one person.
It is the oldest use of astrology: Babylonian sky omens were about kings and harvests, and the personal birth chart came later.
Its tools are national charts, outer-planet conjunctions, ingress charts and eclipses; financial astrology is one of its branches.
Its biggest risk is hindsight: something big happens in every stretch of time, so finding a matching aspect afterwards proves little. That is why this site's cycle table gives dates only, with no historical events attached.
